Vehicle Description This vehicle comes with a very interesting history! The car was originally purchased in 1969 from Mercedes-Benz of New York City by a German doctor.
A prominent New York Lawyer then purchased it from the doctor for his wife, and they enjoyed the car for almost 30 years.
After their ownership, the car once again went through an extensive restoration process performed by Performance Vintages Classicos in the Dominican Republic.
Engine, transmission, fuel injection pump, fuel and brake systems, suspension, as well as all other mechanical components have been restored or replaced utilizing original Mercedes-Benz parts.
The vehicle has been restored through a rotisserie level process ensuring that the car was brought to bare metal exposing any possible rust, and more importantly, treating it to avoid future exposure to damage.
The car is finished in its original factory DB040 black color, utilizing original Glasurit primers and paint.
The entire remanufacturing process for this vehicle took over 3,500 man-hours of labor, and cost over $50,000 in new parts.
The car has been sorted in the United States and is in perfect operating condition.
The car has been restored respecting the originality of the vehicle and Mercedes-Benz factory specifications.
